-- Siddhartha Guatama
I have always had a passion to learn as much as I can about who we are as human beings; what makes us what we are, and what is our purpose in this life.
My curiosity has taken me to many far away places like Venezuela, New Zealand, China, Japan, Korea, and then some. I always tried to walk along side the natives to better understand their lives - with their needs and desires.
That wet my appetite to attempt to really become a part of their worlds as best I, as an American, could. I have now spent the last six years living between Costa Rica, The Netherlands, and Poland. That meant not always thinking of running away when things get tough - but sticking through thick and thin - being a part of their cultures.
I know this world to be so much smaller than we generally think it to be. People are the same; the same basic needs, desires and motivations. The external differences are what most people usually fear. We eat different foods, have different religious backgrounds, and at times extremely different environmental variations.
I believe we can all agree that the world as a whole is falling apart.
People are fighting more to be seen for their differences, or for what makes them feel unique
or important.
I want to bring the similarities of people into a greater perspective so a form of mutual respect
for our cultural uniquenesses can occur.
This can be achieved through education and social projects that emphasize the similarities, idiosyncrasies, and differences between cultures.
I call it a People Group.
Mission
To promote cultural exploration in order to make the world a smaller place. Uniting religious and cultural beliefs so as our overall tolerance will rise. Introduction to a new world community encouraging understandings of the commonalities of the human condition.
